Location: Cora Headquarters

I felt a prickling pain from my lower body as I woken up. It seems that I have survived my reckless charge the other day. An atendant looked at me as I started to jerk my bed as I tried to stand up. He said "I recommend that you not do that not at least before you have fully recuperated". It did not took me another moment to do what he had just suggested, because the pain was getting worse the more I move around. So, I subsided to my bed and felt better. "How could I have survived that?" I asked myself. I can still remember the launchers all pointing at me and as they went off my mind went blank. After sometime I felt my eyelids becoming heavy and I fell under a deep sleep.

I woke up from the cold wind which blew from the opened window. An atendant was there and she heard me waking up. "Are you alright?" she asked courteously "I'm okay, it's just that I felt a very cold wind from the window that made me uncomfortable." I replied with the same courtesy. She went to the window and closed it "There is that alright?" She asked with a smile. "Yes, Thank you!" I reckoned. "Hey, you know... you were very lucky to have survived these" She said as she tucked my blanket in. I immediately knew what she was talking about, how could one corite survived all those Launchers. "To tell you the truth I didn't know how I survived those blasts, I didn't have time to think of dying as I felt those Launchers' ammunition hit me." I told her as she checked my chart. "I was there too you know, and I saw you rushing through the ranks like a spear and spin sliced the cluster of Annhilators, and how you summoned your Innana right before you got hit by their launchers." She said as she prepared her things. "I summoned who?" I was puzzled.

"You summoned your Innana don't you remember?" she said with a skeptic look in her face. "Innana? I don't know I have that animus... I only have Ezra my Isis" I said still puzzled. "Then how could you have summoned an Innana right before you got hit?" She asked again. "I don't know" I replied. "Well, you'll have plenty of time tomorrow to think about that, when you will be released. As for now have a good sleep, okay?". "Okay" I replied but I was not satisfied. As she left the room I thought about it, another animus which I can summon. "Who is Innana? How could I have summoned her?" These thoughts lingered in my head as I again felt my eyelids getting heavy.

"Good Morning Ryone Snapdragon!" I heard these words as I woke up. Infront of me, is an old looking male corite, his face was a bit pale and he was wearing very large specticles. "I am your physician, Remorde Levard, I am also the head of the Medical team. You gave us a big scare with that stunt of yours... I suggest you don't do that again!" He said while pointing his fingers at me like a father lecturing his child. "Anyways, you displayed a marvelous control of Body and Soul, to be able to charge and use a skill at those Annhilators and still be able to summon and Innana right before the blast, Very excellent indeed!" He said gleefully as he patted my back. "Anyways, you are discharged now, your things are at Locker 011001." he handed me a pair of keys and as just about he was about to go out he added "I think you should thank your Innana personally, after all she saved your life"

"I guess I should thank Innana, I owe her my life!" I said to myself. I went to the southern HQ gate and there I tried to summon Innana. "Innana... come out!" I murmured but no animus came out. "Innana... please come out, I would like to thank you." I concentrated even harder but no one came out. I guess it was only a fluke that I have summoned an Innana, after all I don't have an Innana reaver. Exhausted, I tried to rest so I sat down and thought about Innana. To my surprise an animus came out, with white wings and a white dress. It was Innana, she immediately casted a spell on me which made me feel good, and my exhaustion non-existent. "Innana, so you came! I would like to thank you for saving me the other day." I said as I felt rejuvenated. "Thank you very much!" I added. Innana didn't say a word but she smiled and I think she understood what I said, after that she vanishied into thin air. I know for once who gave me Innana and I said "Almighty DECEM, I thank you for letting me live, and being there for me. I know you were the one who gave Innana to me, and with that you have my forever praise for your name." So, I wore my armors and headed straight to Cora Headquarters Main room.

The Chip War

Location : Haram-Crag Portal

There was only five minutes left before we will enter Crag Mines, the Archon was getting a bit disappointed by the numbers which have showed up for that day. "Cora we need you! Go to Haram-Crag now!!!" His voice was like thunder flying out in all directions and we were a bit startled to hear him shout like that since our transcommunication devices were in our ears. 10 seconds...20 seconds...30 seconds seems like we were the only ones who will be doing this sacred mission. The Archon said "Well my brethren I think we are the only ones who have heard DECEM's will" he said with a disappointed face. "We will have to aban-" His sentence was cut by the trampling of feet that were from a battalion of corites!

"We're sorry to be late Sir, there seems to have a problem with the portal but now we are waiting for your commands!" The man first in the ranks said. Our archon was filled with joy his disgruntled face now full of burning passion. "Thank you DECEM! You have never abandon us!" He said to the heavens. "Everyone, we don't have much time so I want you to move to L9 and as we move I will tell you about the intels we have about the other races..." So we move in to Crag and headed straight to L9.

It has just been two days since I was accepted in to the Cora Colony but ever since then I felt a burning desire to help in everyway I can to the community. But, alas I still have much more to learn about the Cora community so I went to the headquarters and asked people on what ways I can do to help them out. "Join the chip war and bring glory to DECEM" said one, "DECEM's will is that all corites will show his loyalty to him by showing other races that we, his chosen people are strong and ascension is our birthright! The best way to show it is to participate in the Chip war." replied one who seems to be a veteran in battle. "As it is written in the Academy every corite who are in age have the right experience are required to join in the Chip war" said one who was just a fresh graduate from the academy.

"What is Chip War anyway?" I asked myself. unfortunately, I was heard by Lucius Mentaros his sneering face right in fornt of me. "Poor child, doesn't even know what chip war is... You, should not think about these things since only the brave ones and CORITES have the guts to participate in it." With these he strutted away like a child who had his hands on a new toy. "No use asking him" I said to myself. One person overheard our conversation, he went to me and said "Maybe you should go find out for yourself, there is a Chip war later 21:00 hours but all corites are to assemble 20:30 hours in the Haram-crag portal." "I'll try to go, but it's a war isn't it?" I reckoned "Yes it is, only the brave ones are to thread such mission but if it is for DECEM Death is nothing." he replied with a serious tone "Don't worry young one, if you are hurt you will be ported out immediately by the medical team" he assured me.

21:30 hours I readied myself infront of Haram-Crag portal and waited for any corite who would join me. 30 minutes have passed but I was the only soul in the portal, "Maybe it is cancelled?" So I walked back to Haram portal and went to the Headquarters. As my body was being teleported to Headquarters and light was again covering my whole body I felt people rushing to the other portal. I was back in Cora HQ people running everywhere carrying their weapons. An Injured corite with an arrow on his back was being escorted by the medical team. His scream for pain was covered by the voices of the platoon readying themselves up to the portal and help the corites who were outflanked in the chip.

"What is happening?" I asked one but he was in a hurry and maybe have not heard me. More people came out of the platform some injured some just went back to get ammunitions and potions. I was in the way and I thought I should just stay near the weapon seller. Confused I sat near the pile of crude swords and spears then he came. The person who told me about the Chip War. "I haven't seen you in Crag where have you been?" he asked while getting ammunitions from the Weapon seller. "I thought that we were to assemble in Haram-Crag portal I waited 30 mins in there but no one came." I said defensively. "What?! Haven't you heard that it was changed since both Accretia and Bellato targeted our chip?" he said surprised. "No I didn't know there weren't any announcement" I replied "Don't tell me you don't have this" He showed me an earphone with an antenna in the end. "No, I haven't what are those?" I queried "This is a telecommunication device handed out so that one can hear the announcement of the Archon or the councils." he said hurriedly as the weapons seller gave him his ammunitions. "Here, have this I have a spare... I need to go now, wear that and go help our brethren!" And with that he ran to the portal and in an instant was gone.

"CORA Hold your Ground don't let them destroy our chip!" I heard as I held the device near my ear. "Cora, we need more corites DEFEND THE CHIP!" He was shouting at the top of his voice. I wore the device and readied my armors and weapon to help them. I ported to Crag mine and as soon as I was in crag one corite casted a spell on me and I felt that my feet were light. "Go now! They need reinforcements!" she said, surprised I followed her order without even thinking. I can hear swords clashing, people casting spells and cannons firing. Corites being brought back to the portal by the medical team, injured some have decapitated limbs. It was bloody but, no one look back, they headed straight but, I was stopped. Stopped by the sight of blood and flesh. I hesitated to move forward I was even pushed by the corites rushing to the chip. I felt helpless... "5%...4%...3% FALL BACK CORA FALL BACK!" I heard from my device. People started rushing back to the portal. My arm was being pulled by one corite "Let's go back we are ordered to go back" she said. I felt empty as we reached the portal and then it flashed before my eyes "BATTLE LOSE" the device showed Quiane Kahn's face speaking the only word that I understood was "Have you done your best?...". "No, I didn't" I said to myself.

The next day I still haven't recovered from the nightmare that I had. I didn't wear my Communication device, scared that the archon might call us again and go to the Chip war. "Get a grip RYONE!" I screamed. I thought about DECEM and all my confusion was gone the fear was still there but lessend none the less. "I'm always with you Ryone" I can hear DECEM speak right into my ears. Yes, why should I be afraid DECEM is with me. But still, I fear blood and getting hurt I need to train my self. I left my quarters and headed straight to Haram to train...

We stopped at L9 and and we readied ourselves for the command to storm the Bellato chip. "The Bellato..." I whispered, anger tried to take over me but DECEM's voice was still strong and I quickly forgot about revenge. "Ok, Listen up Cora concentrate on the chip the veterans will be fighting any resistance just concentrate on the chip everyone." The archon said. "Ok, LET'S GO!" with that we all rushed to the bellato chip. Chip guards started to fire their spells at us. I blocked one of the projectiles that was headed to my ranks, immediately one corite fired his bow and crippled the attacker. Everyone was fighting the chip guards, I can see the bellato army with their weapons up high, moving back. "Concentrate on the Chip we Veterans will cover you!" The archon commanded. I started hitting the massive cylinder with a chip inside but it was hard and it seems like that every strike that I make was absorbed by the cylinder. But, My strike was followed by other corites their spells going to the ship and hitting it making sparks but still the cylinder was not budging. I striked harder and they were followed by the strikes of the Corite near me who was wielding a fine looking spear. Projectiles fly up and hit the chip, Isis were summoned by the fausts. I copied them and Summoned Ezra, Ezra's eyes grew bright red and she immediately attacked the chip. Like it was DECEM posessing every Animii, helping us achieve our goal. "That's right keep attacking! We will fend off the Bellato.". The Chip guards ported in front of me and immediately whacked me with their maces I felt all went black...

I found myself in Cora HQ there were still people rushing to the portal. The chip war is not yet finished I stood up and readied myself for battle. One of the medical antendants saw me and said "You should rest, you might have a concussion" but I didn't listen instead I rushed to the portal as he antended to an injured corite with a burnt face. "Cora in HQ we need your help Defend our chip combined forces of Accretia and Bellato are attacking it... BCC 72% CCC 36%" He said. I found myself infront of the Crag portal and the same person who casted a spell on me last time was there casting spells on every corite. She casted her spell and I felt my feet light, with that I rushed to defend our chip. Cannons were roaring like thunder and they are hitting the chip. Bellato on the other side were casting their spells at the chip and their warriors were fighting of accretian forces. "Cora we are evening out the field CCC 8% BCC 10% DEFEND THE CHIP!" I heard from my device "Clear the accretians Siege Line!" said the council who was leading the platoon of the defenders. "Warriors DIVE! Casters support them! on 3!" We poised ourselves for battle. "1...2...3! DIVE!" the council headed the attack but was caught by the accretians warriors and immediately used magnetic net on him. "Don't help me! GO FORWARD! DIVE!" He said as he parried two swords from two accrecians. One saw me rushing to the siege line and fired his bows at me I blocked two of them but I was hit in my legs by one, not thinking about the pain I headed straight to the siege line. As I reachedthe line I immediately dived in the siege line of accretia and spin sliced I got one launcher down but others still on their feet. I tried to use another skill but their launchers were now pointing at me and the last thing I felt was the heat of their ammunitions burning my skin.

Location: Cora Headquarters

I have noticed that a day have passed by as I walk through the Spire plain. The sun is just settling in the east and no one can be found training in the plain. They might still be sleeping... but then I was wrong I found Lucius Mentaros in the entrace of Cora Headquarters and he said.

"What took you so long? Come, the Bishop has been waiting for you..." with that he turn around and rushed to the Bishop's room. I followed him there as fast as I could and when we both reached the door, he poised himself and readied to talk.

"Your Excellency-" the door open in between his sentence and Quiane Kahn was in front of us and with a smile she greeted me "Ryone Snapdragon it's good to see you! How was your meditation with DECEM?" Her beautiful face was like the morning sun warm and graceful, but she was not floating any more she was on her feet. It seems that Lucius looked a bit surprised as he gazed at me, not looking at Lucius ridiculous face I replied "It was an illuminating one your Excellency, I have learned many things from the meditation." stopping to breath then I added "I have learned the revenge will only hinder my growth, that it would turn into a heavy weight that make me fall to the ground..." I waited for the bishop to answer back, but it seems she was still waiting to hear my accounts so I added "DECEM have told me to live with his people... So I would ask if I could be a corite your Excellency?" and with that she answered gleefully "It is DECEM's will I nor any corite can object. You have been blessed my brethren!" Still with her smile she went back to her platform and started to levitate.

"We have to keep these things formal, So Ryone Snapdragon what would be your class?" She asked me as I was approaching her. I knelt down and and thought of what I would be that could glorify DECEM's will and also my family. With that in mind I said "Your Excellency I would like to be a Warrior-Summoner with that be plausible?" I asked the bishop and as though she again have read my mind, she said with a warm smile "Of course it is! well then, we will arrange the rites of Ascension, you will be called when all is ready my brother as of now take a rest in your quarters" She scribbled the words Ryone Snapdragon Warrior-Summoner in the air and neon like things glowed as she wrote the letters and they vanished into thin air. "Welcome to the Corite conclave my brethren!"

"Thank you your Excellency!" Like a child getting his new toy I was excited and almost leaped with joy but alas, I kept my courtesy and stood up and took a bow. "By the way Ryone please accept these gifts..." She levitated an armors set and a Sickle Knife in front of me and I readied my arms to receive them. "This is what DECEM has given you use it well my brethren." And with that I took another bow and said "Thank you your Excellency, I will use this for DECEM's glorification!" I turn around and look at Lucius still stupefied face and went out of the door.

I changed into the armor given by DECEM himself and felt the warm of DECEM's love and as I held the Knife that DECEM gave I felt power rushing through my veins. And as I stood in front of the Corite portal I have felt that I was meant to be in this place and it is my responsibility to protect it and glorify DECEM who have love me so much!

Enlightenment

Location: Unknown

I fell in the water and landed in an arid, dry land. I tried to move a bit but it seems like my body was carrying something heavy. "W-Water..." I murmured as I felt that my throat was a bit parched. But, no one can hear me... since I was alone in that land.

I looked up for a while but saw nothing but darkness. I lay there for 30 minutes waiting for someone or something but no one came, not even the wind. It was like time has stopped for that moment. I soon noticed that my lips are getting dry and my skin cold and clammy. It's a sign that my body badly needs to have water. I tried to move again, but only my eyes can perform what my mind ask of my body to do.

Desperate for help, I tried to summon Ezra, but still to no avail. Not even Ezra could hear my pleads. 15 minutes have passed and I started to feel nauseous. I can even feel the beat of my heart thrashing the cavity that surrounds it. Death... I can feel it again, how many times have I felt that my life was hanging by a thread. Countless, it seems, ever since that day when my family was murdered I was haunted by death. "M-My f-family..." my voice shaked as I uttered these words.

I remembered what I must accomplish in this life, that is to avenge my family! To kill those Bellato who have mercilessly killed my mother and my father! I felt that my blood was rushing to all directions. I can feel the rage and the strength that comes with it, and I tried to stand. Staggering I stood up but as soon as I planted both of my feet on the ground my body became so heavy even heavier than what I felt before and I fell immediately.

"ahhh-" As I fell on the ground and landed face first. The weight was now doubled , it's impossible to stand up now. I don't understand why I can't stand up, and there I was again staring blankly on the abyss.

My breathing was slow now, I guess I can't avenge my family... "Be Strong!" I suddenly heard from the back of my head. "I remember this voice..." I said then another voice came up " We're always with you..."

"Mom, Dad, is that you?" I asked as my lips became drier. But no one replied, of course no one will reply they're dead! All hope was now gone, I guess I will die this time. Eyelids are becoming heavy and breathing slower than it was before, yes... no doubt about it I'll die. But as soon as I closed my eyes someone spoke.

"My child... have you forgotten me?" an omnimous voice said. "Have you forgotten the one you have always prayed to ever since you were little?" he added.

"W-who... are... you...?" I asked with a parched throat. "I'm disappointed, Ryone, why haven't you asked for my help?" he said with a voice like that of a caring mother. "I-I'm sorry I-I don't k-know you" I reckoned. "It is I DECEM, whom love you so much." then like lightning it came to me, yes, why have I forgotten the one whom my mother said the almighty one who loves his creations. The one who I have prayed to when I have troubles, when I was happy and when I needed someone to listen. Who was I, to now forget who he was.

"OH! ALMIGHTY ONE! I'm sorry to have forgotten you..." It seems like as I cried these words my strength came back "... I am not worthy to ask for your help." my body has recovered it strength and now I could kneel down before DECEM.

"No my son... You have just proven yourself once again. Repentance is the greatest gift you can offer me." He said, his voice echoes everywhere. "My son, Vengeance is not everything in this world, it'll only hinder your strength... Avoid such emotions." He lectured as I was still kneeling down before him. "Yes, Almighty one I would try to avoid such things" I replied with a shaking voice, I still can't believe I have forgotten about him. "I can feel your anxiety but do not be afraid, I will always be here for you... Just remember to call out my name and everything will be fine." I felt very happy as he said these words, it's like it took out everything that I was carrying, even my vengeance. "Live with my people Ryone, for I have a plan for you..." he said.

"What plan might that be my lord?" I Inquired. "It'll come to you in due time, for now go to Quiane and tell her what I have asked you to do... remember Ryone, I will always be here for you." before I can say anything else I find myself washed away to shore and the waves hitting my body, like it was being caressed by it. I kneeled and said "Of course my Lord, I will always follow what you have asked me to do."

And with that I took my sword and shield and headed straight to Cora Headquarters

Cora Colony: Crimson Coast

Location: Crimson Coast

The Bishop's words still rang in my mind as Lucius took me to my quarters. His stiff body seem to show more as I watched him from his back. Maybe because he didn't get what he wanted... maybe he wanted me to be executed or be exiled. I bet he knows I'm a half breed.

"This is your quarters, you are to stay here till next week from which you must answers the bishop's queries... The Bishop wishes that you have this" Lucius handed me some of their race's currency and a map of Cora Colony. "Even if you are SLIGHTLY favored by the bishop doesn't mean that you will live in luxury." He said with a smug on his face. "Do remember that in this week you are being tested, and it is a test for loyalty to the Holy Cora Alliance and to DECEM himself!." He added and he looked into my eyes and I saw a small burning flame beneath his pupils, and he hurriedly went off his way.

After scanning my quarters which was a modest one, I started to stare outside. The sun was still up and it seems like it was just past noon. "Let's see... one thousand, two thousand... five hundred... Oh well, better than nothing." There was a sudden noise that came out from my stomach. "Oh yeah, I haven't eaten for a day maybe I'll go out and look for food." I took my map out and looked for a place where I can find food. Then I saw the large body of water north of the headquarters... "Crimson Coast, huh." I readied my things and went straight to the coast.

Cora Colony was a green colony, it seems like everywhere you go you can see trees and grass. not to mention Cora's love for water... Their headquarters are built with a creek underneath. Cora would prefer to stay in watery areas because of their belief that water is the source of life. And water is the gift the DECEM gave them that should be revered, because without water life would cease to exist. Strange beastiary welcomed me strange bugs and flying bat-like things were the first things I saw. Not to mention, Flyms which are like everywhere in Novus. Luckily, they aren't aggresive and would prefer not to attack anybody. But, when I came to Crimson coast I saw Ops Lava creatures, they are not a friendly bunch since I also have experience on them when my father took me to train my swordsmanship skills and brought 5 of these things. They weren't that hard to beat but when you get heat by their projectiles it sure does feel like a laser. It scathed, my legs which took a week to heal.

"This is going to be one hell of a food hunting." I poised my sword and raised my shield. I guess I should not trouble Ezra just because of these things. After 5 minutes... I have cleared a path to the sea and headed straight to it. My gunblade was filled with blood and my shield worn-out, well after being used to block 5 succesive blows from the Ops Lava aces I guess it would really be worn-out. At least I am in the sea right now and it seems like the monsters don't like it here, which is good for me.

I took of my heavy melee armors and started to bathe in the sea. I haven't seen a big body of water such as this... I never knew when it started but I felt strong emotions going through my body and rage was building up, and I couldn't stop my self from shivering. Flashes of what I've been through this past month suddenly rushed to my head. "HRAAAAAAA!" I suddenly cried and tears poured from my eyes. I just don't know when it started, and I felt miserable... so miserable that I wished that the sea would eat me up... and to my surprise it did.

The last thing I saw was that of the sun high up in the sky blurred by the water which was now pullying me to the abyss.
