Location: Cora Headquarters

I didn't even have time to look at the beautiful scenery before my eyes as they took my arms and escorted me towards the center of Cora Headquarters. Bystanders were looking at me with great interest... surely because of the guards beside me. They follwed us as we strut towards Quiane Kahn's room. Before it was a portal of some sort where people are popping up as circles of light foretold people of their coming.

Luckily, we hadn't bumped into anyone who was being summoned from the portal. And as we neared the entrance to the bishop's room the guards loosed their grip and went to their posts. Only the officer in charge and myself were standing before the door.

With a loud yet elegant voice he cried "Your Excellency, I Lucius Mentaros have brought Ryone Snapdragon before you...". So his name is Lucius... I thought, but before I could think of anything else his eyes met mine and I think it meant that for me to enter.

I remembered what he said that I should be polite and every way possible, but awe filled my heart... There was such a great aura circling around her and her beauty was just like my mother but her dress must mean that she is of Noble blood. Her gaze was soft and warm, I thought of the first time I had eaten chooties' sweets when I was a child... It was just like that feeling. She was levitating, which surprised me even more. I really couldn't explain what I was feeling maybe, this is the feeling of euphoria-

A hand was slapped into my back... it was Lucius's hand, a signal that I should bow. And so I did, it was the longest bow that I ever made... I couldn't look up maybe I'll again be entranced by the beauty of the bishop, that was until she spoke.

"Ryone Snapdragon, Is it not?" With such a soft spoken voice that I barely heard it if not for me being so near to her.

"Y-Yes, your excellency". A poor copy of Lucius's greeting

"Don't be afraid Ryone, I already know why you are here in Cora. But, I think that you could not be able to do such task at your current state." Again with that same soft spoken voice but now with a motherlike tone. Is she talking about my family? How I want to avenge their deaths? How much I detest the Bellato specially those who killed my family?

"Yes, Ryone I already know. Don't worry about you being an advocate of Holy force, times have changed and we have learned from our mistakes. Furthermore, Edians have showed their Zelousness in serving the great DECEM." She added as I thought about how my mother ended up in Bellato homeworld. Does this mean that she already know that I am half bellato?

"It was an unfortunate event that your family was murdered by the bellato, but it was not in vain we have received your mother's message and have prepared our armies in case of another armed conflict against the bellato even against the accretians." It seems like I can sense a hint of doubt of speech in her voice. It was like she doesn't want to talk about what I have thought about. It was clear that she can read minds.

"Your mother, Etila will always be remembered by her brethren!" her voice was now firm. "Ryone Snapdragon, now I ask you will you continue to bring glory to the great DECEM just like what your mother did?". I was startled by this question, I never thought about this question... I was not ready to give an answer for such a huge respnsibility. I was still wrapped in the red mist of vengeance.

"I cannot answer that question right now your excellency..." I replied, but it seems like she already knew the answer.

"It seems like your heart is still cloaked with red." she said, but in between I can hear her without opening her mouth. Our eyes met and then she said "I know, you've been through a lot. More than the usual corite have been through, and it is hard and confusing but Ryone only you can find your way. Be Strong!" Those last two words, I can remember them... They were like the words of my father. My heart raced and I can feel it again, the throbbing pain of losing someone important. But, now I know what to do that is to be strong!

"As of now Ryone Snapdragon, you are welcome in Cora Colony. Please treat it as your home." The bishop said, but not without the grim look of Lucius. "Have you heard it Mentaros?" she look at Lucius with a straight one.

"Yes, your Excellency..." He reckoned.

"I guess it is all settled, please show Ryone his' temporary quarters. And, Ryone I hope that you can make a decision a week from now, I'll be waiting for your reply." She said with that sweet, warm voice.

And with that I made my bow and I was again escorted by Lucius... But, I sure saw the smile that Bishop Quiane Kahn made as we left the room.

To Cora Colony

Location: Kartellan ship bound to Cora HQ

"The ship bound to Occupation area is leaving please buy your tickets..."

I just remembered that I don't have any money and when I looked at the person in command of the brigade he immediately said

"No need to think about the tickets we are on official business"

And then he said no more... We stepped on the platform and then a flash of light from the floor covered our bodies and the next thing I knew we were inside the ship.

"Please make yourself comfortable" said the officer with his fake grin.

His two companions grabbed my arms and took me to the lowest part of the ship. It was a big room and I guess it was made for briefings. They threw me there unceremoniously, I fell down the floor with a loud thud.

"What the-" I tried to say someting but it was cut by the soldier.

"You are not allowed to roam anywhere, don't even think about escaping!" Then he and his companion guarded both doors of the room and stayed still. Their looks were like of a tiger, eyeing their prey and watching every move I make.

"Arrgh!" I tried to release the anger that filled my chest. I was just enjoying my stay at Cora wharf then these people took me without notice. And threw me here like I was an animal, to talk to some bishop I don't even know of.

After feeling that my chest was a bit lighter than it was 10 minutes ago I tried to sit down but then...

"This is the Captain speaking... We are approaching Cora Colony... Please take all your belongings with you"

"It's time." The officer said as he entered the room. "Ryone Snapdragon I ask you to be polite in the best way possible when talking to the Bishop." He added, still with the fake grin which now I find annoying.

And we stepped out of the platform and the rays of light from the high sun hit my eyes...

Woken up to a bad start

Location: Cora Wharf

I was woken up by Ezra's soft cries. When I came around I saw intrinsic patterns I have never seen befor. I felt very serene and I can feel the Force flow in and out of my body like water flowing through a stream. I focused my attention on ezra and made a grin, she gave a big sigh and then went back to her reaver.

"Thank you Ezra, without you I'd be a popsicle!" I said jokingly.

Seems like Cora wharf is deserted at this time... who would wake up 4 in the morning? I tried to stand up, and successfully I did but not without staggering for support using my gunblade. The wound from my injury last time has not yet healed but it is much better than last time. I can still remember the horror of that encounter. I can still smell it... the oil from the accretian and, the blood from my ankles.

"So this is Novus..."I uttered.

War is everywhere in Novus unlike in the Bellato homeworld there isn't much of fighting since it is under government control of the Bellatos. You'll get killed if you're not aware of the situation and if your focus is not in the surroundings. Then suddenly it hit me, the hairs in my neck rose up and I can feel blood pumping rapidly in my veins.

"I can avenge my family..." Shaking with excitement "I can kill the ones who murdered my family!" I can still remember their faces well, I can still remember the scar of the captain and his voice. I know, I can feel that he and I will meet again here someday... someday-

I was cut in my thoughts by the coming of the kartellan transport and with it a bunch of corites. They were all holding their weapons up high as they approach me.

"Ryone Snapdragon, I presume." Said the first person in the ranks "The Bishop wants a talk with you, please come with us" He said as he made a fake grin... I can feel some hostility from him and his companions.

"Okay..." I said it without even knowing

Location: Cora Wharf

Though it was hard to go thru hordes of robots and callianas I managed to get myself in one piece near Cora Wharf (With Ezra's help of course). As I neared my destination a cloaked Accretian has chosen me as prey. I parried the first volleys of arrows thrown at me but the third one got me in the ankles. I seemed like I was carrying a heavy ball of spikes in my right foot now. Ezra was still resting, still tired from our little venture from Ether Platform to Cora wharf's vicinity. It seemed like I will soon follow my family...

"Mom,Dad I'm sorry I think I cannot avenge your deaths" I uttered these words full of pain.

But then, I saw a Fire Projectile from behind me and it hit the accretian's arms which made him lose his grip from his Beam Gun Bow. The accretian made let out his launcher to retaliate, and Immediately three corites surrounded him one was surely a warrior and seemed like the leader of the group and his accomplices both summoners.

The Warrior said "Come here brethren and take refuge we will take care of the vile accretian!"

He let out his sword and pose for battle and his comrades followed him. Both summoners took out their Isis which made the accretian go into hiding. Unfortunately, Cora is gifted with Sight and they saw him. Cornered he tried to make a last stand. Deploying his Siege kit and started firing at the warrior, which seemed like a bad choice of a target since the warrior took it head-on but emerged unhurt. Projectiles flew towards the lone accretian some hit his legs one took out his power cells and to finish it off the warrior slashed his head horizontally that the liquid that supplies it's brain oozed out like a fountain.

"May DECEM have mercy on you, are you alright?" Inquired one summoner.

"Yes I'm alright, Than-" Suddenly all went black and the last thing I heard was a soft thud in the snow.

Ether Inhabitants

Location: Ether Platform

I have no more money to spare and it seems like I have to go to other race in order to have money and to survive. I Didn't know where to go, I would never go back to Bellato I still need to avenge my family and make them pay for their crimes. Accrecia might welcome me but I would need to give up my body and live inside a robotic one, and lastly Cora would be a good choice specialy when I look more of a corite than a bellato.

I made up my mind I would go to Cora and ask for refuge. I just hope that they'll accept me, well I know how to summon animus and wield a sword I think I can meet the requirements. Unfortunately, Ether inhabitants might not make my journey any easier.

Ether's inhabitants are full of mechanized robots and a new race in novus the callianas. It seems like they are both hostile and any race and would kill anyone on sight who don't look like them. Not a very friendly bunch, but I would take the risk rather than die and not avenge my family's death.

After all I have Ezra to protect me...
